Hello all. This will be my first entry in my new wedding journal. It is nice that there is a place that i can go write down my thoughts concerning the ups and downs of planning a wedding. I had looked into starting my own wedding website until i found out that I had to pay for that. Tongue

Today I did a lot of searcing online for some of my accessories including my headpiece and veil. I found a headpiece i like but have had no luck finding the right veil. I'd really like something extrordinary but nothing has really caught my eye yet. I am wondering if I should have it custom made, but it is so expensive on the websites where i have seen the service offered.

I guess i will have to keep looking.

What a ceazy day. I went to a local accessories shop about a half hour from my house. They had absolutely everything there but the prices were unbelievable. Would anyone in their right mind really spend $20 for a coloring book to give to your flower girl. Ok, so it was about 2 feet by 1.5 feet but $20. Give me a break.

I also found the perfect shoes there. I tried them on and they fit good and were actually comfortable. I was ready to buy them right there on the spot but my mom suggested I look around some more first. She thinks its a bad idea to buy anything without shopping around first. I rember as a kid when going back to school shopping, we would shop around looking for the best prices on like paper and pens.

Well, we went to two other shops after the first one. The second one had nice stuff and the prices were reasonable but the owner really turned me off. She was the only one working the store and there was a woman at the counter waiting to check out. I had a few questions also. The owner knew we were both there and needed assistance but she just kept right on talking on the phone to what sounded to be a boyfriend or husband. I just walked out after a few minutes. The woman at the counter was not far behind me without a bag so i'm guessing she did the same.

The third place turned out to have a lot of the same stuff as the first with very similar pricing, so I am wondering now if that is the going rate for some of these things.

Thats all for now,

My dress came in!!!! it was love at first site. It looked so much better in person than it did on the website. AAnd it was a perfect fit to. Well, it was a little long but the owner of Fairytale Endeavors told me that I could save money on the alteration if i just get a poofy skirt for underneath. I guess that will lift it up a little. And I am also going to wear some higher heals than i was originally planning on. My fiancee is about a foot taller than me so it certainly won't hurt to wear a 3 inch heal instead of a 2 inch heal.

As soon as I can figure out how to use my digital camera, I'll post some pics for you gals.

Well, everything is finally coming together. I have my bridesmaid dresses now and I will be handing those out to my girls this weekend.

My wedding is in October so I still have some time left but I still feel like there is so much to do. I am going a little crazy.

I have been looking everywhere for a little tux for my ring bearer nad all I can seam to find are balck and white, but I wanted grey. I guess Fairytale Endeavors is getting little tuxes in in Aug. so I am going to wait and see what they have. If all else fails, I will just go with white, but the rest of the wedding party will be in grey.

Here are some pics of my bridesmaid dresses. They are going to be mass produced even though I designed them. Nancy liked them so much that she is adding them to her dress line. Cool. maybe I should become a fashion designer.

I won't prefer to shopping online specially for my special day, as me preferred to go to store near to my place.

Keep Sharing and Reading!

Hello
Unlike so many of the events and activities that precede your wedding, this one has no rules, no etiquette, no history, or traditions. It's up to you to set the guidelines and the parameters and to make the choices of how your Wedding Journal will look and what purpose it will serve for you. The months, days and then the hours that mark the countdown to your wedding day will be filled not only with many activities and events, but also with what may sometimes feel like a deluge of feelings and emotions. It's hard to say which of the two sides of you, as a prospective bride, will be more important. The nice thing is that you don't have to make a choice here either. You can include whatever you would like in your Wedding Journal.

As a professional writer, it is my very pleasant task to give you some pointers that may get you started and keep you going. Remember that these are only suggestions and that the choices and, ultimately, all the decisions are up to you.
