1. The older you are, the "creamier" your lips should look. If your lips are thinned out and wrinkled, avoid matte or a gloss and stick with a creamy lipstick.

2. Not all lipstick shades look good on everyone.Your skin color will determine what shades are right on you. You may like a lipstick on your friend, but it may not look good on you. Orange or brown shades, including corals, look good on few people. These shades tend to make teeth appear yellow.

3. Camouflage yellowed teeth. To downplay a yellow cast to teeth, try lipsticks with a bluish undertone. Shades that work include plums, pinks, wines and violets.

Tips to cover-up overplucked eyebrows

Hi,

Its really bad if you over pluck your eyebrows, be careful because once plucked, your eyebrows can take months to eventually grow back. What you can do in such a case is given below-

1. Find a pencil color that matches your brows as closely as possible.
2. Don't have a pencil on hand? Try an eyeshadow that matches your brows, you can fill in color with shadow, although it may not look as realistic.
3. Pick up gel brow at any drugstore. No need to spend a lot of cash on this product.
4. Keep brows in place with a spritz of hairspray applied to finger or a toothbrush. Brush brows in place.
5. Next time, get brows professionally tweezed, waxed or threaded.

How to Handle Tarnish

A few words on TARNISH When you deal with silver jewelry... you know about tarnish. Here are a few tips:
Keep silver away from sulfur. It's silver's main corrosive agent... there are sulfur-containing substances in the air and it occurs more quickly in damp and foggy weather. What else is corrosive? Ammonia...Think glass cleaner. Nair (Check the label, you'll see ammonia listed.)

Keeping your silver in an airtight plastic bag will also help; this will keep the sulfur and other corrosive agents in the air from coming in contact with your silver. The jewelry box may be a mass of plastic bags... but the jewelry will look good! If you keep jewelry in a box or drawer, your should consider a small bag of activated charcoal. It's an old fashioned remedy, but it helps.

When considering a silver dip, rethink it if your piece has a stone. Some stones cannot be dipped, soft stones like turquoise, lapis, malachite, amber and pearls are but a few. No problem with amethyst, garnet, onyx, moonstone, iolite, tourmaline and many others. Sterling silver jewelry should be worn and enjoyed...don't worry about the tarnish.

The tarnishing of costume jewelry is typically caused by the metal reacting with the atmosphere and oxidizing.

Arranging your seating plan can be one of the hardest parts of planning a wedding. You've got people you need to sit together such as family and friends, people you dare not seat together, and perhaps people you're just not sure where to sit. You're often constrained by certain sized tables or room layouts and need to give special consideration to your younger and older guests.

These tips should help you to arrange your wedding seating plan with as little stress as possible.

1. Firstly decide whether you actually need a formal seating plan. For smaller weddings you probably don't need arranged seating, but for larger events it's certainly recommended. Without some form of seating plan it can take guests 20 or 30 minutes to get seated with people wandering around trying to find tables with enough free seats for their group.

2. Keep groups together. Start your seating plan by putting family groups, friends, neighbors and colleagues on their own tables. This way you'll make good early progress on your plan and will probably end up placing the majority of your guests.

3. Never try to use your seating plan as an opportunity to match make. Sometimes it makes sense to sit singles together but don't do this deliberately. It will be obvious and they won't thank you for it.

4. It's always a good idea to keep younger children with their parents although you might think about a separate table for older children. Buy some cheap coloring books and crayons and put them on the tables to keep the children entertained during the meal.

5. You should consider where you sit elderly relatives. You don't want to sit them right at the back where they might struggle to hear any speeches and at the same time you don't want to sit them right underneath a speaker where they might moan about the noise!
